Who pays for the work?

Our work is paid for by your home insurance company and we ensure that the work we do remains within the policy cover.

When do I contact my insurers?

You are obliged to take prompt action to prevent continuing damage and we begin the damage limitation work. We help you by providing information to make a claim. We also report to the insurers and get their agreement.

What is the difference between building and contents policies?

The building policy covers the structure of the building including boilers, fitted units and anything that is physically fixed to the structure.

The contents policy covers the items that you can easily take with you when you move including carpets, furniture and curtains.

Who will pay the VAT on the invoice?

If you are not running a VAT registered business from the property then the insurers will pay all the VAT.
